Here at Style Flavors, we appreciate exquisite pieces that stand out and make great statements. However, sometimes too much is really too much.
Just like this tuxedo jacket from Dolce & Gabanna. This jacket with its hand painted black and white floral motif would be beautiful if it were on canvas. But on a tuxedo jacket? It just looks like an overkill. I can't imagine where you would wear this to except to an Asian wedding where it will be appreciated by some and might just get you on the best dressed list for the night. But it's not going to get you any style points.
How much mileage can you possibly get out of a piece like this? You wear it once and everyone will remember it and if you keep wearing it, it stops becoming a novelty and starts being an eyesore.
And in these times, do you really want such pieces? Find this for US$4,995 at Bergdorf Goodman.
