I may not sound very eloquent when I say this but ‘fuck’ is one of my favorite words. I like the way it sounds and the way it rolls off the tongue. It’s also something so universal. People get it. All that said, I am not sure how I feel about this ‘fuck-you’ wallet from Undercover.
Perhaps it’s because this reminds me too much of Pierre Hardy’s iconic block pattern, I don’t find this very attractive. Perhaps it’s meant as a statement. Taking designers iconic designs and pairing them with vulgarities. Maybe, I don’t know. But I don’t want want to use ‘fuck’ on Pierre Hardy because I think he is a genius and I don’t want to use ‘fuck’ when describing money because money is freedom and that’s akin to saying ‘fuck freedom’, no? And who would do that? Perhaps I am over-thinking this. What do you guys think?
