Sheer is a word you don’t often associate with men. After all, when not done right, it can lead to disastrous effects. Often of the tacky kind with associations of go-go dancing. Yeah, not such a good look if you’re not a go-go dancer.
Call me a traditional dresser but I think pants should look like pants and serve their function. Which is why I don’t get this pair of sheer trousers from Nicolas Andreas Taralis, an up-and-coming fashion designer. I mean, why? What’s the point of wearing a sheer pair of pants? I don’t see it adding any value to a look and I think playing coy like that is a little confusing. After all, if you want to show your toned legs, why not wear a pair of shorts?
