When I was 7, I wanted to be a space scientist and work for NASA. It seemed so cool at that time and I’ve always liked how galaxies look from far. Majestic and so mysterious. So when Christopher Kane created a line of tees inspired by galaxies and space a few seasons back, I was stoked.
Now G-Star and Marc Newson’s collaborative efforts have produced this galaxy print tee. I think it’s a pretty decent tee; one that I would write about. But what I don’t get is why they decided to include that childish logo. It dampens the whole mood of the tee and adds absolutely no value. Which is a shame because this tee would be great without it. Oh well. Can’t win all the time.
