So I am not a big gold person. Personally, I think it looks a little off on me and it’s not a metal that I can pull off very well. Even if it’s on the heel of a pair of shoes like on this pair from Marc Jacobs.
I am not sure what to make of this. I think the addition of gold detail on the heel is interesting and eye-catching but it feels too kitschy for me to take it seriously. Plus I can’t get over how wide/fat the toe of the shoe is; there is a lack of sharpness and refinement that I request from every pair of shoes. So this is a little confusing. ‘Hmmmm…’ would be the best way to express how I feel. What do you guys think?
