You know how sometimes certain pieces look good on the hanger but then when you wear them or see them on someone, it just looks a tad off? This particular sweater from Gant Rugger had that effect on me the other day.
I was drawn to its sleek refined color combination. The contrast on the chest adds a touch of modern classic cool. But then I saw it on the model and it became clear that said contrast strip on the chest looks more like a band of nipple tape. It looks a bit awkward and perhaps it’s the positioning of the strip? It just looks like you might be wearing a strapless bra of sorts. Not so cool. What do you guys think?
