So the trend of thick soles continues and while normally, I would welcome a pair of shoes that will give a height boost, I am not very fond of this fad.
Take a look at this piece from Burberry. I like the black brogues and the classic detailing of the piece but then an enormous wedge of contrasting sole is added to this classic upper piece and I can’t say I like it. There is a comical vibe from this that I don’t find very appealing and maybe it’s because I know I don’t have what it takes to carry this off. But then again, if I could carry this look, would I even want to?
