I’ve talked about my fondness for sartorial pieces that don’t look too proper before on this site of mine and paint splatter details are one of my favorite kinds. But that said, I am not too sure how I feel about this particular polo shirt from Bottega Veneta.
It’s definitely loud and attention grabbing but I am not sure if it does it for the right reason. There is a hit of mystery emulating from the paint print but it seems a little too overdone to me. Perhaps if the paint detail was smaller and less in-your-face, it would have been easier to swallow. But this feels like a big sartorial pill, the kind that gets stuck as it goes down your throat… What do you guys think?
