I’ve realized that sartorially, I am not a big print person. Christopher Kane tees are the sort of only prints that I can do and carry off – like fierce kick-ass gorillas and mushroom clouds from atomic bombs. Edgier stuff like that. So I am not sure how I feel about multiple birds on my shirt.
This printed shirt from Barbour with its collection of birds has a fun, slightly kitschy point-of-view but I am not sure how translatable that is style-wish. I think it will take a certain kind of personality and attitude to be able to pull it off and I know I am just not cool enough to pull this one off. But for those of you who are lucky enough to have that certain something that allows you to rock some songbirds on your back, I salute you.
