Nicholas Hoult, one of the fine stars of Tom Ford's directorial debut, A Single Man, is featured in the upcoming issue of VMAN (out January 28) photographed by Willy Vanderperre. With his next project, Clash Of The Titans, expect to see more of this rising individual on and off the red carpet.

Happy New Year everyone! Personally, I am glad to see 2009 go. It was a very tough (that's just saying the least) year for me. It was a year of seeking help, grieving, making right what was wrong.

That said, 2009 also showed me the importance of being grateful for the good things in my life. Not that I wasn't but sometimes, it's easy to miss the bigger picture when you're dealing with what's right in front of you.

One thing I am grateful for is this site. The impetus for starting Style Flavors came one day when I was so frustrated with the lack of sites featuring things I want to read about. So I decided to create my own space. It has allowed me a platform to share and be curious and learn and for that I am very grateful. I am also grateful for all my advertisers and individuals who have expressed an interest in this little site of mine. Thank you all.

I've talked about changes before - more than once. They are coming and Style Flavors is going to be bigger and better. I just ask for all your patience as I work on getting it all together and also as I work on myself - I will be taking a short break from this site. There will still be daily postings; just lesser. So I ask that you bear with me.

I wish I could promise you that the wait is all going to be worth it but that's something you will have to decide for yourself and something I hope all of you will stick around for. But what I can promise you is that Style Flavors will still be the same no-holds barred, fuck-it-all review site -sans bullshit. If you have any comments or suggestions, please, I would love to hear from you.

For now, I hope you had a smashing New Year's and please excuse me while I learn to go smack the curve-balls life throws and give a finger to anything that stands in my way (Show them how it's done, Tom!).

Tom Ford's directorial debut, A Single Man, tells the story of a gay man in midlife coping with the death of his partner. The trailer is exquisite, sans spoken words with a terrifyingly compelling score. The imagery is beautiful and from the looks of it, the performances from the actors too.

I can't wait to catch this for myself but till then, I'm going to watch this again and again.
