The Body Shop Vitamin C Plus Time Release CapsulesThis is my travel staple that I take along every time I need to be on a plane for more than 5 hours. Its convenient, individually sealed capsules makes it very travel-friendly and you can just pack 1 one capsule for everyday of your vacation in a zip-loc bag or a pill case.

It delivers fresh Vitamin C that protects and boosts the radiance of your skin while Vitamin E neutralizes free radicals and slow down the effects of environmental stresses. Its unique time-released systems ensures a more effective absorption by your skin.

I pop open one capsule and I apply it before the start of a long flight; my skin stays hydrated and I look fresher when I land. I still need to use my trusty Avene spritz on the flight but not as often and there is a noticeable reduction in the dryness of my skin.

This is also great for taking along to beach/summer vacations - the ones that you spend days lying in the sun (with protection, of course). Place them in the hotel fridge and pop one before bed to help reverse the effects of sun worshiping.

With extracts of Brazil nut oil and black currant seed oil to moisturize and soften skin, this nifty little single-dose capsule gave me healthier, brighter skin and a more even skin tone. It comes in a bottle of 28 capsules - one for each day of your skin's renewing cycle.

You can also use this before an important date or when your skin needs a little boost. Gotta love something so useful, cheap (it is only $1 for one capsule!) and compact!

The Body Shop Almond Oil Daily Hand & Nail CreamMy hands take a beating everyday from constant washing and I have tubes of hand creams all around the house and in every bag. I get calluses from working out as well so if I don't pay attention to my hands, they would be in quite an unrepresentable state.

I went through a tube of this quickly and I had to go back to the store for more. This hand cream moisturizes, protects and strengthens nails. With sweet almond oil and organic soy oil that provide essential fatty acids that aid in the repair of skin's moisture barrier, dried out hands are instantly softer and smoother.

Vitamin A, E & F provide antioxidant protection while shea butter seals in essential moisture. Organic beeswax conditions hands and skin around nail beds while acting as a natural barrier to help lock in moisture.

I liked how it kept my hands moisturized for hours. They were softer and comfortable after every wash and it is not too heavy for use in the day. With Lanolin, a rich moisturizer that is absorbed quickly into skin, this is handy to have around during the colder, drier months.

Get this for US$16 (3.4oz/100ml) at The Body Shop.

The Body Shop Spa Wisdom™ Africa Spa Honey ButterI wash my hands constantly throughout the day; after picking up after my dog, running errands, making protein shakes etc. It's the easiest, quickest way to prevent catching a bug like the cold or hand, foot and mouth disease (it can happen to adults too!)

As such, my hands get dehydrated and I am always on the lookout for great hand salves. I picked this up at the store 2 months ago and this is a great balm for your feet and hands before bed and before going about your day.

This rich honey butter absorbs quickly and provides intensive and deep conditioning. Extracts of essential oils, honey and beeswax work harmoniously to nourish, soften and heal dry hands and feet.

Shea butter conditions and seals in essential moisture while Lanolin; a natural moisturizer, protects dry, rough skin. The light honey scent is soothing and barely there so you don't have to worry about it being too powering.

The Body Shop Warming Mineral MaskWhenever I travel (which is a monthly thing), I find the rush of catching my flights, ensuring that I write my entries and staying on top of things usually leaves my skin dull with the occasional zits.

I discovered this mask a month ago and I find it a great help when I am bogged down with a list of things to complete.

This 5 minute mask has extracts of Kaolin Clay that helps maintain skin's natural balance while purging excess oil and impurities. Ginger and cinnamon provide invigoration while algae purifies and conditions the skin.

Wild harvested seaweed hydrates and Zeolite warms instantly on contact with water; ensuring the easy removal of skin-dulling grime and dirt that clog pores.

I use this twice weekly for best results; be sure to avoid the delicate eye and lip area. Get this for US$16.50 (5.15oz/150ml) at The Body Shop.

The Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying TonerI picked up this toner when I ran out of my current bottle of Nutrogena Pore Refining one. I've always enjoyed products from The Body Shop and this is one that I will be going back to the store for.

This alcohol-free toner works to control excess shine while refreshing and balancing your skin's natural Ph levels. Extracts of bladderwack seaweed; rich in nutrients and vitamins, clarifies and purifies skin while algae extract provide essential hydration while combating shine and oil.

Cucumber extract refreshes tired skin; for a cold skin treat, store this in the fridge and enjoy after every face wash! I like how this works to combat shine and in the process, minimize the look of my large pores.

Another thing I love about this is that all the seaweed harvested to make this product re-grows fully in 2 years making this environmentally-friendly and sustainable! So you can look good while doing good!

The Body Shop Cocoa Butter Lip Care StickI picked this up after my great experience with the Vitamin E lip-balm. I ran out of said lip balm and went through the whole day with chapped lips because I was stuck in situations that day that required lots of waiting and annoyed phone calls. I rushed to the store the first chance I got and purchased this.

The first thing that hits you when you apply this is its light, chocolate taste. It lasts for a few pleasant seconds after which your lips are moisturized and hydrated.

It glides on easily and stays when you drink. With extracts of cocoa butter that soothes and softens skin, beeswax that enhances skin's natural moisture barrier by locking in essential moisture, sweet almond oil provides essential fatty acids that help repair chapped lips, olive and coconut oil work to condition the skin; this is one lip balm I will be going back to the store for!

I took this with me to Europe and this helped to keep my lips healthy, moist and comfortable in the presence of the cooler, drier Fall weather.

And I know a few individuals who might appreciate this shade of brown more than they would ever do the pink on the Vitamin E balm.

Get this for US$8 (0.15oz/4.2g) at The Body Shop.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Facial ScrubI discovered this weekly scrub when I was in high school; dealing with teenage acne. I am over that stage; thankfully, but I still use this when I am breaking out in zits from stress or environmental pollution during my travels.

The refreshing scent of tea tree oil not only smells good but also helps combat and kills bacteria that cause zits. Excess oil is also swept away but unlike traditional acids that deal with pimples, tea tree oil doesn't over-dry the skin so it is less harsh than a lot of the regular ingredients found in acne products.

Extracts of beeswax lock in moisture and act as a skin conditioner while fine mineral beads and ground tea leaves exfoliate to remove oil, impurities and dead skin cells.

My skin felt smoother and softer after every scrub; with lighter pimple marks. The tea tree oil scent is a great pick-me-up in the mornings.

I use twice weekly for best results. Get this for US$13 (3.7OZ/100ml) at The Body Shop.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Lip Care Stick SPF 15Beeswax is one of my favorite balm ingredients and so is Vitamin E; one of the most commonly used antioxidants that combats free radicals and protect skin from daily environmental aggressions.

This lip balm from The Body Shop combines both of my favorite ingredients into one nifty stick. I've had to be very selective about my lip products ever since my Petroleum Jelly allergy.

I'm digging this lip balm because not only does it contain my favorite ingredients; it also has essential oils from olives and coconuts that work together to nourish the delicate lip area.

This glides on easily and smoothly and the faint vanilla flavors is pleasant and very light; hardly noticeable at all. With SPF 15, you can be sure that your lips are protected throughout the day from harmful UVA & UVB rays.

At only US$8, this lip balm is chock full of lip-loving stuff and is my steal for the week! Get this at The Body Shop.

PS: I had some hesitation about the pink tube when I first saw it at the store and I know that might turn some of you guys off but you can keep this by your bedside and use it at night or when you think you're all alone... ;-)
