I've never been one to look good in caps, hats or ski beanies - but I've always secretly admired people who could throw said pieces on and look effortless and cute. I just think I end up looking silly and a little contrived.

That won't stop me from admiring fun, cute pieces such as this one from Paul Smith. I am loving the youthful navy stripes against the neutral oatmeal ones. Throw this on on a lazy winter's day and go about your day. It'll be a balm of sorts during those bad hair days too.

I am very much looking forward to Fall; it's barely weeks and my want list for Fall keeps growing by the day! These handsome pair of boots by Paul Smith is the newest addition to my list.

I am loving the double buckle design on this slip-on pair. They go seamlessly with the stitching detail that runs throughout the boot adding a tough yet sleek touch. The studs add a stamp of roughness that goes perfectly with the vibe of these boots. 

They are wide enough so you can tuck your jeans in and the side zipper provides an easy way to slip in and out of this. Also available in Black but my vote is for the slightly pebbled brown shade; it's got more character and would look striking with dark/black jeans. I can so see myself running around town doing errands with this pair of boots!

Paul Smith's iconic strips always put a smile on my face. They are fun, funky and so distinguishable. As much of a fan as I am, I have to say that having/wearing those strips in small doses is best because like Burberry's plaid, one can run into the risk of overkill.

This handy wallet is a perfect dose for those in need of their Paul Smith's stripes. It's got 8 credit card slots so you'll be spoiled for choice (I fit more than 8 cards in mine; you'll be surprised how much this hold). A single billfold slot hold your daily cash and receipts. At 3"W X 4½"H, this is longer but thinner than your traditional wallet and is great if you're looking for a different sized carryall wallet.

The purple lining inside the billfold and the 2 inner credit card slot adds a personal hit of playfulness that is symbolic with Paul Smith's design. The stripes do however lose their vibrancy especially when placed in dark denim. But if you take care of it; it'll last you a while. I know mine did!

Sir Paul Smith recently shared with Telegraph his thoughts on what makes a stylish man. Known for his iconic multi-colored stripes, Paul Smith is one designer that I can always count on to put a smile on my face.

Here is my favorite point: " When it comes down to it, I have absolutely no problem with the way anyone dresses at all. Who the hell cares? Being 'well dressed' is as much about a person's behaviour, manners and posture as it is about what they're wearing. Yes, a tailored suit and handmade shoes are beautiful things, but the truly well dressed combine them with other qualities - courtesy, good manners, and knowing when to talk and when to listen."

I can't agree more! Looking good and sharp is only a percentage of what constitutes a fine individual. The rest is internal.
