So the skull-movement exploded and became prevalent when the great Alexander McQueen issued them on skulls and then later tees. This movement is something that I stand behind eagerly and fervently. Now we all know that designers take ‘inspiration’ from other designers all the time and I am usually one to stick with Alexander McQueen when it comes to skulls but this particularly skull tee from Paul Smith Jeans would be something I would make an exception for.
There is something different about the skull on this tee. Perhaps it’s the eye-catching multicolor effect that pops in a pretty splendid way or perhaps it’s the fact that the skull on this tee has teeth. And you can see both rows of teeth. In fact, the skull even appears to be smiling. How fun – and I am not one to say no to a fun piece…
