I love it when classic items get reinterpreted. I don’t have a better example of that right now than this gorgeous Bottega Veneta jacket. I’ve been looking for blazers and jackets in general for a while now. I want something different and fresh; something that would get me excited.
And this really got me excited. I am loving every portion of this. The double layer that extends from the collar is simple and yet so arresting. It speaks volume for itself. I love the clean lines of this jacket and the double duty vibe it exudes. You can dress this up or down – either way, the charcoal grey color is timeless and will take you places.Pair this with jeans, …

Lately, I haven’t been getting much sleep and have been quite stressed with everything – from work to life in general. It doesn’t help that I have an overactive mind that refuses to shut down when it’s time to. My skin and eyes show the first signs of lack of sleep – I start breaking out and eye bags start showing.
I gave this eye cream a shot 3 weeks ago and didn’t think much about it. Recently, I noticed that my eyes looked healthier and less puffy and my bags were slowly fading away – thanks to this eye cream.
This goes on easily and absorbs quickly to reduce puffiness and the morning-after signs. The texture is a combination …

Plain tee shirts are a staple and a wardrobe essential for me. I wear them all the time with everything – shorts, jeans, pants. I have been searching for the perfect tee-shirt for years now and really though perfection is so subjective; there are a few basic requisites that we can all agree on: softness, durability and fit.
Marine Layer tees have those qualities and a little more. Made from a blend of Pima Cotton and a bio-based natural fiber from Beech wood called Modal (which regenerates faster than regular cotton and requires less water to mill), the tees they offer are not only super soft; they are also green.
I just love the feel of them and what I …

I’ve been looking for shorts to wear to the beach or hang by the pool with for a long time now. The ones I have seen or tried on so far are either too baggy or too loud. I want to have a peaceful weekend by my pool or a quiet week in Bali and I really don’t need my swim wear to be louder than they should.
These shorts from Franks are hitting all the right spots. Franks is a brand born from the beach culture of Australia so they should know their stuff. Tailored from soft water resistant fabric for comfort; these are good for lounging in.
Their unique quick-dry fibers make it easier and convenient to just …

I am not a modelizer in the sense of the word, even though I love fashion. And models and fashion are like cellphones and batteries; they just work together. Aside from Travis Fimmel (my high school scent was CK’s Crave), Gabriel Aubry (baby daddy of Halle Barry) and Rodrigo Santoro (Charlie Angles 2′s beach scene); I don’t really know anymore male models by name.
The very recent launch of HERO is about to change that. Featuring the faces of tomorrow that will be ubiquitous on the catwalks and the campaigns on the billboards you see on your way to work, the premise of this magazine is to shine a spotlight on these up and coming individuals.
Working alongside the crème …

Leather jackets are one of those pieces – perennially cool and timeless. They also don’t come cheap which is why they are also investment pieces. You buy one, take care of it and wear it to death. Aside from lots of style points, a great leather jacket will also give you a certain kind of mileage that say, a tuxedo jacket can’t.
I am falling for this gorgeous motorcycle inspired jacket. In fact, I have already fallen for this. From its sleek, handsome silhouette to its detail-filled exterior; this is one piece that will really rock your wardrobe.
The asymmetric zip front and oversized foldover collar give an air of cool that everyone will appreciate while the silver snap details …

A day bag is something I see more and more men carrying these days. From totes to messengers to weekenders to backpacks (yikes!). I wondered what I did or where I placed my essentials before I started carrying around a bag whenever I left the house. Those days seem to be long gone.
But this charming leather messenger bag is here to stay. With its simple, sturdy, masculine design, this is one bag that could possibly take you places and then some. With a top handle and an adjustable shoulder strap, this gives you options and I like bags with options (particularly bags with both shoulder straps and top handles).
The leather will look better with use and age and …

Pimples and the sun leave and give me spots that don’t seem to ever go or fade as quickly as I would like them to – despite all my best efforts and good intentions. As such I am always on the lookout for products that will aid in restoring an even complexion.
It was from the great success I had with Clinique’s Turnaround Visible Skin Renewer that I decided to give this concentrated version of the skin renewer a shot. Like its name suggests, this serum packs a more concentrated dose of skin regenerating exfoliants that works hard to gently but surely reveal fresher skin.
I loved the effect it had on my skin – after a few applications, my …

My favorite colors are grey and black (although black is technically not a color). They are quite fail-proof and will work for most every work or play outfit. However, this piece is an exception.
I recoiled when I first saw this. My first impression was that it would add years to your age (and not in a good way) and draw unwanted attention. Then I started looking at it some more and I began to see how this could be appealing but it was because the gaudy design would actually work on a tee-shirt.
But on this particular sweater, it just looks overdone and terribly unflattering. Perhaps this is catered to an older clientele but it still doesn’t make this …

I do not have the biggest built neither do I have a lot of height. As such, as much as I love layering, I have to bear in mind that I still need to remain a sleek silhouette because packing on the outer layers with too much zest would overwhelm a small frame.
This gorgeous overcoat would help prevent that problem. The very sleek, clean lines are enviable and timeless. You can wear this over and over again and it will still look modern and polished.
The hidden button placket and slash pockets add to the charm of this minimalistic piece – simple and yet so refined, this is a piece that will make you wish it was colder just …
