In life, you don’t always get everything you want when you want it. Sometimes you get extra and excess of things that you don’t ever want in the first place – like acne, zits and scars. But you find a way to take care of them as and when they come.
I can deal with zits and greasy skin but what I detest is the marks that these uncalled-for zits leave when they fade and dry out. These post-inflammatory brown spots take a while to fade and despite my best intentions and attempts, I still get frustrated at just how slow the process is.
I decided I needed to find a way to just speed the process up. Something besides my serums, spot erasers and moisturizers. I chanced upon this while I was shopping for products a few weeks ago and I decided I had nothing to lose but to give this a shot.
The blue peel has a grainy, slightly creamy texture and what you do is you spread a thin layer over your face; avoiding your eyes and then wait 10 minutes or so before rinsing off. Like any acid peel, you’ll feel a slight tingling sensation which just means the product is working.
My face looked cleaner and my blackheads came off easier after the first use. The few small zits I had went away after the next couple of uses and my skin looked brighter and felt smoother and low and behold, the post-zit marks became lighter and lighter.
Granted, this smells like a chemical peel. There is no masking of it and the scent might take some getting used to but it’s a non-issue for me because it did help my skin.
I use this twice weekly or anytime after a breakout. I like how it not only keeps zits at bay but also help with existing ones. It does give an improvement that is worth repurchasing for. Plus, the very affordable price pleases my wallet quite effectively.
