As all of us with curly hair know, if there’s one thing you don’t do is skip the conditioner. Well, I was very naughty to my hair and was doing just that for about a week and a half due to various reasons. I’m studying abroad and trying to be careful with the cash flow, so first thing I did when I ran out of the conditioner that I brought with me was buy a cheap one. What a mistake; after using it, my hair didn’t feel conditioned at all. Then when that ran out, I didn’t buy anything for two weeks.
However, I stopped at Monoprix one night before meeting up with some classmates and stumbled upon Le Petit Marseillais wonderful new formula “au beurre de kaite et au miel” aka shea butter and honey. Both ingredients are touted for their moisturizing effects and let me tell you, this has worked wonders on my hair. And that’s huge for me to say. Normally I’m always very, “meh,” about hair products no matter if it’s supposed to be the best thing on the planet for curls.
My hair had begun to look like a bird’s nest. It was dry, frizzy, feeling like straw and breaking. But, after less than a week of using Le Petit Marseillais, I can actually leave the house with my hair down and with no product in it. The curls are perfectly formed; it’s shiny and incredibly soft. This has never happened to me in my life without intense styling and product use. So, suffice to say, I recommend this product. I think I’ll treat myself to the entire line for Christmas.
