I love mojitos and even though I don’t have an aching desire to go to Cuba, I enjoy their cusine and their cocktails. The Cuban Bar (La Bodeguita Del Medio) is a lively, happening spot for that extra large glass of mojitos and some very decent food.
You can order a double mojitos and it comes in a huge soda glass – which still goes down quickly because they are just so easy to drink. Tell your server how you like your drinks. Sweet, tart or strong. My first glass was made too sweet but the second one had a tartness that was right up my alley.
The food selection was great – a fusion menu where you can go local or not. My arugula raspberry salad was nice and was just of the right quantity. My tenderloin was perfectly cooked and the potato gratin very satisfying.
Food or no food, this is definitely one place to go hang out and have a drink. The atmostphere is lively and fun and it’s a wonderful place to be merry and let down your proverbial hair. La Bodeguita Del Medio (Prague)
