I have a thing against wearing flip-flops to restaurants and other similar establishments - unless you're on a beach vacation. Flip-flips should be worn on the beach and not places where reservations need to be made. I just think it's sloppy and that's never cool.
Sandals, on the other hand, are appropriate when the weather's right. Look at this gorgeous pair - the brown leather straps are classic and go perfect with your Spring/Summer outfits; looking totally appropriate at home and on vacation.
