Dolce & Gabanna Shearling BlazerThere are some colors that work universally on most everyone - black, white, blue and some other colors that work best on some individuals - green, pink. Then there are colors that I don't think will flatter anyone like camel and mustard.

Camel and mustard tone pieces invoke a vibe of cheap, tacky and ill-fitting. This piece from Dolce & Gabanna does just that. The color itself is a big turn off and given what this coat was made for (and the season it was made to be worn), it is also extremely unflattering.

The lamb shearling trim is nice luxurious touch but the love ends there. And at US$2084.21, there are a lot of other things/services that can be bought that will evoke more pleasure than this ever would.

Find this at Diabro.

Dolce & Gabanna Asymmetric Zip Overcoat Dolce & Gabanna Asymmetric Zip Overcoat detail

I am a huge fan of layering and as such, winter is my favorite season after summer. And unlike summer, I don't have to think about sweating under my layers. An overcoat adds a dash of formality to your already dapper suit and also your casual shirt and jeans combo.

This sleek black overcoat from Dolce & Gabanna will be good company in your winter wardrobe. I am loving its clean detailed lines and although in general, I do not like loud details - I find that the asymmetric zip complements the overall quiet tone of this coat.

I am also a fan of its welt chest pockets - a chic way to keep your hands toasty. The open spread collar gives a sophisticated tailored look and I personally like it spreads open to reveal a hint of your shirt underneath. A great way to play with colors.

Dolce & Gabbana Striped Sweater (Multi)

I am a fan of colors and I believe men shouldn't be afraid of adding colors to their wardrobe. When done right, wearing just one other color can easily jazz up your whole outfit. That said, this is a prime example of over doing it.

Firstly, why would anyone need so many colors on one sweater? Not being able to make up your mind and deciding on a color choice for your outfit is not a good excuse. I get it that Winter can be dark and gloomy at times but walking around like a variation of a Pride flag is not going to cheer up the people around you very much. Secondly, I think you're paying for the extra colors on this mess of a sweater. Stick to one or two colors and then save the rest of the money for your heating bill!

If you ever feel like going about your fall day looking like a confused popsicle, you can find this for US$600 at Diabro.

Dolce & Gabbana Cuffed Print Shorts Dolce & Gabbana Cuffed Print Shorts 1Art and fashion usually go hand in hand - sort of like condoms and lube. But sometimes, when art and fashion come together, it's like a disaster waiting to happen - sort of like condoms and Vaseline. This pair of shorts shows just that.

I think you certainly won't be able to go incognito with these pair of shorts. In fact, you'll probably get stares the moment you walk into the restaurant or the store. Printing art on a pair of shorts might seem like a good concept on paper or in conversation but in reality, this is a visual assault. And what is up with the front pleats? I need to stop looking at this because I haven't had dinner and sights like these are not good on an empty stomach.

If you ever feel like wearing a piece of a museum on your waist, you can find this for US$581.48 at Diabro.

D&G Striped Navy Tie D&G Striped Navy Tie 2

I think square tip ties are stylish and a great addition to your work wardrobe. This D&G tie is a good example. The contrasting gray stripes on this navy textural jacquard weave tie adds 2 quiet stroke of detail on this 100% silk tie. The dark navy and gray combination will go well with your solid colored shirts (like white, black, navy, grey). Get this for US$170 at eLUXURY.

Dolce & Gabbana Formal Track Pant 2Dolce & Gabbana Formal Track Pant 1

There comes a point in time when you ask yourself just how much is too much? I'll start, US$1225 is ridiculous for a pair of track pants. I don't care if they're by Dolce & Gabanna or if they're 'formal' track pants. And just what is a formal track pant? And where do you wear it to? The only place I can think of is the Playboy Mansion and you'll match this with a red velvet robe.

It is just the principal behind paying so much for what looks to be a pair of fancy exercise pants. You'll be better off making a donation to the many worthwhile causes out there. Not only will you accumulate good karma points but you'll get a tax write off too!

But if you didn't work up a sweat over the price, you can find it at Saks Fifth Avenue for US$1225.
