I am not a fan of white sneakers or shoes for that matter. I think they can be nice to look at but their artificial pristine and their lack of stain-resistance scares me. So I avoid them and I don't give them any time/thought.

Until I came across this. I can and will change my stand on white shoes for this stunner. Technically, it's not all white, it's a half-bred. The white leather cap toe, trims and laces provide an excellent contrast to the navy canvas. A navy shade that is flattering and great for all year round wear.

The Dior Homme logo is subtly and stylishly displayed on a lower lace. Quiet, cool and collected. Its got the same qualities you would want in a man/chick. Except that this doesn't fart...

Dior Homme Satin Layered Waistcoat

A formal waistcoat is one of those pieces that will make a man stand out in the sea of other men. A 3 piece ensemble is as classic as they come and even sans jacket, a waistcoat and shirt combo is something worth writing home about.

This satin waistcoat is scoring major points and it's easy to see why. The satin portion adds a  formal dimension that never goes out of style while the narrow collar and lapels give this a fresh feel without sacrificing any of its classic, evergreen quality.

The asymmetrical hemline is another detail that I am falling for - a subtle deviation from the common that those in the know would appreciate. Use this to instantly dress up an outfit or add extra oomph to shirt/pants combination. Either way, you have a winner on your hands.

I've been in a bit of a sneaker-phase lately. I seem to be more interested in wearing and buying them and when a kick-ass pair like this exist, I just have to write about it.

The first thing that strikes you is its multi-lace detail. The long black lace gets a round trip that covers the top portion in an edgy way that is just simply so desirable. The silver zip at the back adds another level of detail that only increases the desirability factor.

The contrasting white sole provides just the sliver of contrast that makes this a pair to wear for years. A fine example of how something simple (black on black with a hint of white) can indeed be so stunning. Wear with jeans and a can't-be-bought attitude and this goes without saying but a pair like this deserves to be worn to death.

As much as I love my lace-ups, boots and loafers; there are days where I just feel like walking about with sneakers. They are fuss-free, comfortable and really, can take a beating more than say a patent dress shoe. However, I won't go beating this sleek piece.

The variation of black, grey, metallic silver gives this pair a refined vibe that will look stunning with jeans or pair with a dark suit. The suede lining at the tip provides a textured look and feel; with all subtlety and restrain.

You can't go wrong with such a combination and the mileage you get from this will go on for years and years.

Dior Homme Aviator Sunglasses
With the air warming up and frozen margarita weather approaching, sunglasses are a prerequisites. So needless to say, having one that looks good is kinda a rhetoric statement.

Aviators are classic shapes that flatter most every face type and this version from Dior Homme is hitting all the right notes. The thin frame is flattering and lightweight; so comfort is a given.

The gradient lenses make for a subtle statement that works no matter where you are this summer. Get this Dior Homme Aviator Sunglasses for US$225 at Saks Fifth Avenue.

I like dressy tees. I like them a lot. I find them fuss-free and easy, so they are great for days where I just don't want to be bothered with a shirt. Throw on a fancier tee with pants for a cool, polished look that is both relaxed and proper.

This contrast shoulder tee has all the right amounts of boldness and detail to stand out. The black paint drip design stops mid-way down the center of the tee giving this enough charm to get you through dinner parties and night on the town.

The contrast of black and white brings out the modern feel of this tee; making this one to wear with a blazer/pants combo.

Dior Homme Two Tone High Neck Shirt

High necks are prevalent this season with designers from Rick Owens to Ann Demeulemeester tackling this trend. I don't believe in following trends but there have been a few high neck pieces that have caught my attention and piqued my interest and when they look like this sleek Dior shirt, it's hard not to be captivated.

This shirt is simple at its core and it lets its high neck contrast detail do all the talking. The high neck collar folds over to reveal a white portion that stands out against the solid black of the rest of the shirt. A crisp, straight-on-point detail that draws you in and make you yearn for it.

The zip closure is another interesting point to note. It falls down the left shoulder and replaces the traditional buttons you normally find on a shirt. This is one shirt that speaks out loud all for itself and with quiet, stylish aplomb.
