I saw these awesome kicks a couple of weeks ago in the store and they were pretty darn magnificent. I don’t play basketball but I have a really good idea how basketball shoes are supposed to look. I spent a lot of afternoons on basketball courts during my high school years (don’t ask) and these babies from Dior Homme are hands down the best looking basketball sneakers I have ever seen.
Sports utility aside, this pair of sneakers are as sleek as sneakers get. I am digging the high top design coupled with the leather strap – it adds a simple yet stylish detail that stands out without trying hard. The contrast white line on this pair also adds a sliver of detail and cool. Totally desirable.
My only question is this: do you tuck your jeans/pants into this since the best detail (the leather strap) will be covered by one’s jeans? It seems like such a shame to hide something as beautiful…
