Sneakers are a part of my everyday life. I run errands in them, I throw them on when I need to rough it up in the clubs (too many brand new dress shoes damaged after one night of dancing) and they are great for easy, casual, no-fuss days. However, track shoes (the kind you wear to the gym) are not meant to be worn outside the gym. I see guys wearing track shoes with jeans and shirts and it's just wrong. It completely throws off their whole look and ruins the aesthetic.

So have sneakers to wear out and sneakers to work out in - and keep them separate. That said, I am digging this pair of leather sneakers and its simple yet arresting play with colors and detail. The most obvious thing you notice is the lime green stripe and it offers a bright, fresh contrast to the black leather - nothing too loud or too in-your-face. Just a right hit of colors.

The next thing I am liking much is the leather velcro strap in grey. It adds detail that only serves to further enhance the desirability of this pair. The rivet stud on this velcro strap gives it an edge that complements the whole shoe flawlessly.

This is one to wear out with jeans or even a suit. I would throw a tee shirt on with tailored pants and this pair for a night out.

When I was a young kid, I was very fascinated with briefcases and I remember playing with them every chance I got. I would pack my notepad, my pens (because writing with pens is definitely more grown up than writing with pencils), my money in the leather briefcases lying around the house. Then I would pretend to buy soda just as if I was on a coffee break after an important business deal (no, I didn't know what martinis were back then). Because when I was young, I thought going to work was so cool and I remember wishing for the day to come where I could go out and work - while having my own briefcase. Now, I know better about that going to work portion and I take it back. But I still would like to have my own briefcase especially this one.

I am digging the clean lines and aesthetic of this piece from Costume National. The grey calf leather will go splendidly with your work wardrobe and will last you seasons after seasons. The subtle detail compliments the overall sleek vibe of this briefcase. The overall tonal stitching makes for classic detail while the simple clasp and lock speaks volume without needing to try very hard.

The external side zip pockets makes for easy access and storage for your daily essentials when on the go while the internal ID slot lets you put your stamp and mark lest someone covets and takes off with it. And I can certainly see why someone would want to do that!
