The brown marks left by pesky zits is my primary skin concern right about now along with blackheads but at least I know how to deal with blackheads. The post-inflammatory marks on the other hand leave me frustrated and annoyed. I have tried everything – from masks, to spot creams, to spot patches to peels, to lasers. The only thing I need now is patience; which is always easier said than done.

I need patience and during my patience period, I did some shopping and I picked this up at the Clinique counter because I figured I had nothing to lose. Turns out, patience and this post-blemish formula was what I needed to fade those marks.

This is specially formulated for post-inflammatory marks. I apply this twice a day right after my toner so this goes on first and then serum and then moisturizer. A tube of this doesn’t last long (lasted me about 10 days or so with twice a day use) but after about 10 days, I started to see a lightening of those marks. They were less obvious and less brown and it did pay off.
