Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm

This hand balm from Australian cult favorite, Aesop, will heal the skin on your overworked hands. It absorbs quickly and and leaves a non-oily protective film around your hands to bring back moisture, supple-ness and softness to rough skin that have seen better days. Be sure to reapply after each wash of your hands.

I am a sucker for packaging and I like how this looks. It reminds me of those squeeze-tube paints I used to use in art class. The handy black tube will fit into any day bag and the sleek packaging is great for those who don’t want random strangers to know they carry around a tube of hand balm.

The Body Shop Spa Wisdom™ Africa Spa Honey Butter

I wash my hands constantly throughout the day; after picking up after my dog, running errands, making protein shakes etc. It’s the easiest, quickest way to prevent catching a bug like the cold or hand, foot and mouth disease (it can happen to adults too!)

As such, my hands get dehydrated and I am always on the lookout for great hand salves. I picked this up at the store 2 months ago and this is a great balm for your feet and hands before bed and before going about your day.

This rich honey butter absorbs quickly and provides intensive and deep conditioning. Extracts of essential oils, honey and beeswax work harmoniously to nourish, soften…

La Roche Posay Xerand Hand Repair Cream

La Roche Posay is the French cult dermatological staple that has a huge fan base ranging from models to fashion editors to makeup artists. Its unique formulation for different skin types in concentrated amounts ensures you see results when used daily.

I picked this up at the pharmacy while in Florence and it never left my side. The dryness of the Tuscan heat coupled with the air conditioning and slight dehydration left my hands peeling and uncomfortable.

This fresh, light scented hand cream absorbs quickly and easily to replenish lost moisture. With extracts of Glycerin to intensely moisturize, Allantoin to soften chapped hands

Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Age Shield Hand Cream

I’ve been a fan of Neutrogena’s Norwegian Formula Hand Cream for years now. I remember the first time I used it; my hands were peeling and dehydrated and uncomfortable. The moment after I had applied it over my hands, it was like a squeeze of glycerin heaven. My hands were instantly moisturized and the flakiness was gone. Needless to say, I was hooked ever since.

Neutrogena took the great Norwegian formula; inspired by Norwegian fishermen who faced the harshest and coldest weather, and boosted it up skin-protecting UV blocking properties. I’ve only just started using sunscreen or making sure that the products I use on my hands contain sunscreen. Like…

Bigelow Chapped Hands Remedy

This nifty hand cream from C.O. Bigelow contains 40.3% of Glycerin to help boost moisture levels, healing cracked and chapped hands. It is non-greasy and its medicated formula helps prevent future chapping and shields hands against seasonal conditions. I especially like the easy glide on texture. It smoothes instantly into hands and isn’t too cloying or rich. Reapply after every hand wash. The tube is a great protable size that allows me to just throw it into my everyday bag.

The matte, pharmaceutical packaging and mint smell will appeal to those who look over their shoulders in the office whenever their dry hands scream for some love. Get it at Bigelow Chemists for US$14.
