Best Oil-Free Serums

Having finally realized that the reason why my pores were perpetually clogged was because I was using the wrong products; I set out to rid my bathroom of any non oil-free and non non-comedogenic products. I can safely say that I am on the right track now. Serums should be part of your everyday grooming regimen because they pack the most concentrated amounts of active ingredients. They are also more lightweight than moisturizers so should be applied before your moisturizer and sunblock. Here are my picks of 5 best oil-free serums…

Style Flavors Talks To Dr. James C. Marotta About ‘Brotox’

ABC News recently did a story on women who discreetly offer to take their guys to the plastic surgeon or dermatologist for a little pick-me-up session of Botox. ABC News reports that more than 300,000 men got Botox last year, a 10 percent increase from the previous one, and also that a reportedly soaring number of men who are receiving “Botox gift cards”…

ÄKTA® Hydro-Organic Herbal Face Wash

Aloe Vera is one of the best natural skin-reviving ingredients out there. It heals, calms, hydrates and soothes and it is also packed with nutrients. So naturally, it makes a whole lot of sense to use them as a base for facial products. Which is exactly what Gunilla Of Sweden does…

Jurlique Moisturizing Hand Sanitizer

I don’t fall sick very often – perhaps maybe once or at most twice a year. I attribute that to my personal attention to having clean hands. I wash my hands with soap all the time because there’s just a lot of bacteria and germs out there on every surface so having clean hands makes a lot of sense to me. It has definitely paid off for me – being sick sucks more than a bad blowjob…

Caudalie Lip Conditioner

My lips get chapped quickly and easily – like how fast virgins ejaculate on their first sexual encounter. My lips are also allergic to petroleum jelly and any petroleum-based products so natural is the way to go. I didn’t have to look far when I was living in France to find natural products – the French have a penchant for natural products…

Aesop B Triple C Facial Balancing Gel

Men have more active sebaceous glands (oil glands) than women so we produce more sebum than our fairer counterparts. That said, more sebum doesn’t mean we skip moisturizing. On the contrary, moisturizing becomes more important because the delicate balance of your skin’s sebum and moisture levels need to be maintained lest you start producing more sebum to compensate for the lack of moisture…

To Test Or Not To Test

I’ve been catching up on my news and article reading when I came across this article on the New York Times regarding the often misleading ‘Cruelty-Free’ labels seen on many cosmetic products. I’ve always been one opposed to animal testing and it’s been a while since I last saw any products without the ‘Not Tested On Animals’ stamp…

Porcelain Face Spa (Singapore): A Facial Revelation

When it comes to my personal grooming, I’ve had one wish: for my pores to stop being such attention seekers. I’ve tried everything and done everything (from serums to strips to peels to lasers) but my good intentions never paid off. My pores remained clogged and I had blackheads like China has inhabitants. I honestly gave up. That was until I had a 5-hour facial at Porcelain Face Spa. Yeah, I said 5 hours…
