I am all up for floral prints or prints that are inspired by nature. But I don’t know what to make out of this sweater. Is this supposed to resemble a skinny tree bark with a single leaf? If so then, why stop there? Why not add roots and the complimentary weeds?
The contrast black strips on the cuffs are a cute detail but the cuteness dies there. Not really the kind of effect you want in dreary winter.

I am drawn towards the above vests, especially the sleek grey one. I love the play on the traditional structure of a vest that closed diagonally.
