Dsquared2 Nordic Zipped Sweater


Despite greenhouse effects and global warming, warm winters are still winters and that means keeping and staying warm with assistance. So you want to look sleek and structured and refined despite all your layers and not like a pudgy hip-hopper swimming in layers of wool.

You also do not want to look like a walking domino set. Which was my first thought when I saw this. This might be a traditional Nordic pattern and as much as I appreciate and respect tradition, I do not think this makes a stylish sweater.

In fact, it is just too much detail and I have no idea where to look first. And I don’t care if it’s a ’designer’ piece because ugliness is ugliness and an ugly designer piece is just expensive …

Dsquared2 Lace-Up Patent Shoe

 



I love sharp, pointed shoes. It’s usually one of the prerequisites I have when deciding between a bunch of shoes when only allowing myself to take home 1 pair; 2 pairs max. I was initially surprised at this pair because Dsquared2 is usually too OTT(Over-The-Top) for me.

This lace-up patent shoe from Dsquared2 is as sharp as they get which is what caught my eye. The croc-embossed patent leather is the second thing I noticed. I know it’s not real crocodile skin but the finish on this pair of lace-ups is sleek and refined. The patent sheen adds just the right touch of striking glaze.

Now I just have to figure out why they don’t have this in my size. Get this for US$540 at Saks
