Converse By John Varvatos JV CT Studded Sneakers

I’ve talked about my love for spiked and studded shoes many times here on Style Flavors. I would like to show you the new version of the original pair of studded sneakers that sparked my love for all things spiked and studded. It was in 2007 that I got my hands on the earlier version of this great pair of sneakers…

Converse John Varvatos Studded Chuck Taylor Sneakers

I remember my first pair of studded sneakers. They were Converse by John Varvatos. I saw them on the website of Barneys’ and I immediately drove out to get my hands on them. Converse Painted Canvas Studded Hi Top

Converse chucks are one of my favorite things to wear. They are so classic and iconic and they go with everything. From shorts, to jeans to tailored pants. This updated pair is rocking with studs on the vamp (both sides of the lace area) and the quarter (the mid portion on the back of the sneaker). The painted canvas material adds to the nonchalant appeal; you could dirty it as much as you want and the stains will look like they’re meant to be there. I raced down to Barney’s and got a pair as soon as I saw these. I only wished they had more studs. Get them at Barney’s for US$125.   …
