Four Seasons Hotel Singapore: One-Ninety, Sunday Brunch

One-Ninety at the Four Seasons in Singapore is one of my favorite places to hang out on a Sunday afternoon. The Sunday brunch features great drinks and food. With a wide delectable spread of seafood, sushi, pasta, desserts and more, you will be spoiled for choice. It’s never so much about quantity as it is the quality of it all but One-Ninety has both; quality and quantity.

What I love most about this particular brunch is their delicious martinis (you can also go for the champagne brunch where you get free-flow of champagne and martinis). Especially the passion fruit martini. Made with fresh passion fruit puree, you can taste the fresh tartness-sweetness of the passion fruit with every sip. The mojitos served are crisp and refreshing; today also marked my first

The Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort

The Hilton Arcadia Phuket is a 40 minute drive from the airport. When you arrive at the compound, the first thing you realize is how spacious it is. You hop onto a buggy (sort of like one that takes you around a zoo or the bird park) that takes you to the reception lobby. There are 3 swimming pools, a beach and various ponds all in this resort.

Komaneka at Monkey Forest, Ubud, Bali

The Komaneka Resort is located right smack in the town center of Ubud; walking distance from the Monkey Forest and central to shops and restaurants. Despite all that, it is peaceful, quiet and you really feel like you have the whole resort to yourself. You hardly see any guests, aside from the pool or spa, if you didn’t know better, you would wonder just how occupied this resort is. In actuality, the resort was constructed in such a way that you don’t cross paths with your neighbors. Which I thought was a pretty cool concept.…
