I recoiled when I first saw this. My first impression was that it would add years to your age (and not in a good way) and draw unwanted attention. Then I started looking at it some more and I began to see how this could be appealing but it was because the gaudy design would actually work on a tee-shirt.
But on this particular sweater, it just looks overdone and terribly unflattering. Perhaps this is catered to an older clientele but it still doesn’t make this …

So prints, like MSG-ed greasy chinese food, are best taken in small doses. When done right, they can easily add a dash of cool, subtle detail that will elevate an ordinary shirt to a desire-worthy one.
When done wrong, they look like this. This geometric print is neither flattering nor attractive. It looks like a photocopy machine printout on steroids. I don’t know if it’s the sheen from the silk fabric or the black and white contrast but I can’t stop looking at it when I really should. Just like a train wreck.
