Burberry Brit Short Beige Trench details
A trench is just one of those classic wardrobe pieces. You don't need many, just invest in a good one and wear it to death. And if you can, have a spare one for when the first trench goes to the cleaners.

If you're looking for a more modern feel, then a short trench is the way to go. Perfect for a rainy day with jeans and a button down shirt. This beige piece has the modern touch and the fresh feel associated with a short trench.

The beige shade is classic and can be easily worked into your everyday wardrobe. The double breasted style looks great opened or buttoned-up. The slightly faded Burberry print gives this a rugged appeal that keeps increasing with time and wear.

Burberry Fall 2009 Snoods
Burberry Fall 2009 Snoods grey
The trend for this season's accessories according to The Telegraph, are simple shoes, brogues, quilted bags and snoods. Snoods are like hoods for your neck. They function like scarves but are less cumbersome to wear - you simply throw on over your neck and go about your day.

Featured prominently on the Burberry Fall 09 runway, these ingenious neck warmers not only keep you toasty but also puck a punch. Slung with nonchalance around your neck, they immediately capture attention with their slightly larger size.

Talking about large sizes, I remember once I was at Neuschwanstein, and it was snowing out, everyone was freezing and huddling up and loading up on hot tea. I was looking at the selection of ice cream (yes, I love the cold) and making a decision when I noticed the guy next to me in line had 3 snoods (on first look I thought they were extra chunky scarves). Needless to say, he looked overwhelmed and disproportinate.

He wore them to keep warm and I get it. But since snoods are going to be quite ubiquitous this season, I would say throw on another jacket if you are cold because when you wear multiple snoods, you might end up looking like a victim of the trend out in the cold.

If you're looking for one, Burberry has a Broken Fairisle Fine Wool Snood (a wool/cashmere blend) for US$325

Burberry Leather Triple Wrap Watch
I am not a jewellery person, I don't wear bracelets or necklaces or chains. I do appreciate them and I think that I can get into them; just not at this point in time.

That said, I love double-duty pieces. Just like this gorgeous watch. I am digging the simplicity of it. The black face with white numerals and dial with the surrounding antique-gold plating case is classic. The triple wrap design takes this to a whole other level - it resonates perfectly with the military-inspired watch while giving a modern boost that is fresh and spot on.

This would look good both dressed up or down and it would provide its own platform for detail and attention. It's like getting a watch and a leather bracelet all in one. And I am really into this.

Burberry Modern Top Coat Burberry Modern Top Coat detailI've been in a grey phase the past 2 months where I just can't enough of grey. I love this sleek color; a perfect alternative to white if you're in the mood for something lighter but yet don't want to have to be on your toes the whole night when you slurp that marinara sauce. Or the perfect alternative to black if you are in the mood for something darker but don't want to appear like you're mourning.

This top coat from Burberry is hitting all my right spots. It's got subtle clean lines that will look flawless with your work and play ensembles. The hidden button front exudes a modern, sleek silhouette that will complement you in the colder months and then some.

The side pockets ensure your hands stay toasty while the wool/nylon combination will provide for easy maintenance.

A top coat is supposed to fit snug over your suit/jacket so be sure to wear one when you try them out in the stores. Go for one that is the same size as your jacket/suit and only move a size up if it's too snug.

Burberry Military Mega Check Shirt Burberry Military Mega Check Shirt 1Look at this horrendous excuse for a design. It looks like someone took the Burberry check, scanned it in Photoshop, maximized it to the biggest possible size and made it into a shirt. Mega, like its name suggest is a good word, except this looks like a mega mess.

There is black, cream, grey, red, white on this shirt; like a melted ice cream sundae. I don't get why anyone would think this would make a cool military shirt. The whole blown up proportion of the check hides all signs of combat inspiration. The only thing military about this is the mental firing squad one will face with this on.

The thing that repulsed me the most was the pee and fecal colored button. I guess the intention was to match the button with the check design and inspiration can hit anyone at any place; even while you're flushing after a dump!

You can find this shirt with its bowel inspired button for US$395 at Saks Fifth Avenue.
