I don't have the greatest skin and I sleep with the AC on most every night of the year so moisturizing is a must for me. I shudder to think of the state of my skin if I didn't moisturize it daily. It so happened I ran out of night body moisturizer (I use a separate one for the day; a lighter one with UV protection). I need something rich and moisturizing enough to combat the drying effects of the constant hours spent in an air-conditioned room. I saw this at the store and grabbed a bottle. Cocoa butter is one of the best friends your skin can have. And this lotion from Vaseline contains that and glycerin to lock and seal in moisture. My skin felt smoother and softer with a healthy glow that didn't go unnoticed. I like how it's rich but not greasy and how it absorbs quickly into my skin. The light smell of the cocoa butter is pleasant and of course, there are many other cocoa butter lotions that smell better or stronger but for the great price and the good looking skin I got from using this, I'm not about to complain. Get the Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning Body Lotion (24.5oz/725ml) for US$7.99 at Drugstore.com.

I love Japan, Japanese food (I can have Japanese food everyday) and Japanese products such as green tea and matcha. When this range was first released, my curiosity was piqued. There are a lot of products on the market today with claims of tea extracts and benefits and all the usual marketing ploy but really, how much of it is actually true?
I've been using this for a week now and unlike said other products - this body lotion from Origins doesn't promise anything it can't fulfill. The first thing that hits you is its strong tea scent, part matcha and part essential oils (almond, kukui nut, jojoba etc). The scent might be a tad too strong for some but give it a few minutes and a lighter undertone will reveal itself.
The next thing you realize is how rich and luxurious it is. My body was instantly moist and it stayed that way until my next shower. You can feel the film of moisture on your skin and I was engrossed with rubbing my hands together when I applied this for the first time.
With extracts of rice butter and murumuru butter that envelope skin in moisture, ginseng, kukui but, jojoba seed and sweet almond oil to invigorate your senses and calm you down after a long day. Its blend of essential oils is supposed to soothe the spirit and promote focus; I won't go so far as to say that it had any significant effect on my inner senses but I did feel lighter and more relaxed after application.
It's great for those easy, lazy nights after a long week or for a home spa session. Either way, your skin and senses will be in for a treat.

This is hands down one of my favorite moisturizers. It is rich, glides on smoothly and visibly improves skin. The no-fragrant formula ensures you smell like you.
You'll feel an instant smoothing effect after the first application and with continuous use, this will reveal soft, healthy, happy skin. The light orange hint comes from natural beta-carotene that provides antioxidant protection to fight daily environmental aggressions.
Cocoa butter that melts at body temperature lubricates and softens to relief dry, dehydrated skin. I take this with me on every winter vacation and it is a skin saver worth relying on. Sesame oil gives this body lotion its silky texture and allows rapid absorption into dry skin cells. With multiple size options, you can take this anywhere.
I always get the 1 liter pump bottle every time because it is more cost-effective in the long run. So your skin and your wallet will thank you.

I am quite particular about having hands so I wash my hands quite frequently throughout the day. Before I eat, before grooming, after I touch the family dog etc. That dries up my hands pretty quickly so having a good hand cream is essential.
I discovered this great hand cream a few weeks ago and I have been anamored ever since. My staple before this was the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream, Fragrance Free . I still swear by that but I have been using the Neutrogena one for years and I like to shake things up a little. So this Keri Long Lasting Hand Cream with Vitamin E has become my new staple.
The beauty of this is that a protective film still remains after a wash or a couple so if you ever forget to reapply or for whatever reason, your hands still feel soft and moisturized. The texture is wonderful too and it leaves my hands soft, smooth and really comfortable after every application.
Vitamin E protects your hands while offering antioxidant protection. As soon as I realized how good this was, I went back to the store to buy a few more tubs. The super afforable price tag is just icing on the cake when a product works this well.

Shea butter is one of my favorite moisturizers. Not only is it natural, it also softens and soothes while providing skin with antioxidant protection.
This rich skin cream from Jergens with its high concentration of pure African shea butter not only hydrates, it also heals and protects skin from future environmental aggressions.
I took a few tubes of this with me to Bali and after daily sun worshiping, my skin was treated to this luxurious body cream that absorbed easily despite its heavy content. I am a fan of its delicious scent, part cocoa, part mango; it smells great and is a fantastic companion to an end of a heavy day.
With vital vitamins and nutrients, this body cream will restore much needed moisture and improve your skin's natural barrier.
I can't get enough of this and my only regret is not buying enough! Get this for US$6.31 (7.5oz/221ml) at Drugstore.com.

I picked this up 2 years ago at Trader Joe's and I have been using this ever since. With deodorants, I always try to get ones that are as natural as possible. I am not a fan of having chemicals seep through my pits or clog up my sweat glands.
This natural deodorant stick from Tom's of Maine is free from artificial or animal ingredients and aluminum (found in a lot of deodorants on the market today). With extracts of Hops (a botanical ingredient) that inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria, this unscented (it's got a very very light citrus smell) deodorant ensures I stay fresh the whole day. Because it is made from natural ingredients, this doesn't irritate your skin which is always a plus point.
I do not have much body hair neither do I sweat a lot and I don't smell (at least no one has ever told me I smelled in whole existence) so I don't need a strong product but if you are a heavy-duty sweat-er, you might not find this to your liking. I live in a country with a humid climate and this serves me well but I know people who sweat buckets in the summer months and alternate between this for indoor activities and something stronger for outdoor ones.

Attaining a sun-kissed glow is my skin project-of-the-moment. I haven't been doing anything under the sun and I have been avoiding it like the plague for the last 2 months. I wanted to work on achieving a more even skin tone and getting rid of my old dark spots. So from now on, I only get my tan from a bottle.
This tan mist is my latest tool in my self-tan arsenal. This lightweight mist goes on my skin quickly and easily meaning hardly any dry time needed. The green tea floral scent masks up any nasty self-tanner smell and I was left with a burst of color.
The very natural color is a major plus point and the fact that this work so effectively in producing a quick color that I went and bought a second bottle after the 3rd day of usage. I needed a quick hit of color within a day and so I sprayed a layer on and let dry for 5 minutes and then I sprayed another layer on for a deeper shade. This indeed gave me a quick color boost that showed no signs of it being fake. I am sold!

I am a firm believer in sun protection because I have seen first hand how spending time under the sun without protection can wreck havoc on your skin. That said, I do find it a chore sometimes to apply sunblock. Not only do you have to slater it on, you have to rub and massage it in so it doesn't look gloppy or filmy. That takes a while which is why I am a fan of this sunblock in a can.
This sprays in all direction so you can easily get hard to reach areas of your body and the mist instantly refreshes and cools your skin which makes it a fanatstic companion on beach vacations. It also saves you a whole lot of time - just spray, apply it on if you need to (on the face especially) and go. I take this everywhere and I use it all the time.
With a non-comedogenic formula (won't clog your pores), this works on both your body and your face so you really have one less item to pack/bring. And with SPF 45, this gives you all the protection you need.
