Peter Thomas Roth Matte Lip Balm
My lips get the brunt of the weather and as such. a lip balm is one of my everyday must-have items. I have to reapply constantly during the day if not they would crack, split and bleed. No kidding. And to make matters worst, my lips are allergic to Petroleum Jelly so no Patrolatum ingredients in my lip balm which excludes a lot lip balms.

I discovered this lip balm by accident a few weeks ago. I was helping a good friend shop for products and I came across this. I happened to be in need of a conditioning and a more intensive lip balm - so I looked at the ingredient list, saw that there was no Patrolatum and added it to my cart.

This turned out to be a great lip balm. My lips were instantly moisturized and conditioned without any sticky feeling or giveaway gloppy signs. With daily use, they became softer and smoother and looked way better too. The dry lines on my lips looked less obvious and my lips stayed moist even in the most air-conditioned of places.

Since this doesn't have any SPF, I save this for use at night, in the evening and before bed. This is excellent for air travel too - I took it along on a few flights and it really helped to keep my lips hydrated in the dry air cabin. This is one I will be stocking up on.

Peter Thomas Roth Soothing Repair Ointment
As tough as my skin is (it takes peeling treatments and retinoids very well), I sometimes find it begging for some relief. I don't abuse my skin but microdermabrasion and laser treatments leave red patches that go off within a few hours or the next day.

But what do you do in-between those few hours? I usually find myself having to go for dinner and drinks hours after I leave the dermatologist's. I don't know if it's just bad timing or coincidence - but that means I have to deal with calming my skin down and reducing the obvious post treatment irritations.

I use this handy ointment to calm my skin down. Its light yet enriching texture will help calm and soothe cuts, burns and all post-treatment irritations. I like how multi-tasking this is; use this on your body or face. It makes a great traveling companion.

With ingredients such as Arnica that is clinically proven to reduce bruising and swelling, Lidocaine with Aloe Vera to comfort and reduce irritation and Vitamin E to heal and protect; this is one useful and effective ointment.

My post-treatment irritations fade and disappear faster and my skin feels better quicker - this is a beauty cabinet staple.
