Here’s something interesting to chew on. Bing, the decision engine from Microsoft, recently pulled together its search trends for 2011. The top searched fashion brand in 2011 is Gucci.
Gucci reigns supreme for a second year in a row according to Bing’s, the decision engine from Microsoft, list of Top Searched Fashion Brands of 2011. Gucci beat out top brands including Chanel (who took a tumble from 2 last year to number 5 this year), Ralph Lauren, Y-3 and Louis Vuitton.
Guess and J.Crew proved to be forces amongst the high-end labels that made the list, taking the number 6 and 7 spots respectively. Interestingly enough, despite the amount of attention and press Hermes has received this year with regards to LVMH’s purported desire to add Hermes to their stable of brands and the surge in demand for its iconic Birkin and Kelly bags, Hermes isn’t on the Top Ten list.
