Balenciaga is one of my favorite things in life and every season, I make it a point to call all the pieces that speak to me mine. The fact of the matter is that you can’t go wrong with Balenciaga and this awesome sweater is a perfect example why so.
I love the presence of clean simplicity – the red threaded detail on the collar and the cuffs contrast stunningly against the dark navy. You take one look and you think it might be all. But then you turn around and you’re greeted with a light blue panel and you just have to applaud. It is both smart and unexpected and the result is a piece that is fresh and unique.
