I went through a phase when I thought I wanted to be a paperboy when I grew up. Only because I wanted to be able to throw the papers like a pro. Like how they do in the movies and have it smack annoying neighbors in the face. It seemed like a whole lot of fun and who doesn't want to have fun while getting paid?
Things are different now but if I needed be a postman for a day, I would insist of having this gorgeous postman bag. Who says you have to look dowdy while going about the paper route? The classic shape and clean structured lines make this a keeper while the white external stitching give this a subtle contrast that only increases its raw appeal.
The pebbled brown leather makes this a perfect companion for work but its handsome vibe won't look out of place at your after-work joints. The silver studs on the sides and belt closure add another dose of detail that I am digging. This would make a fantastic graduation gift or to celebrate a first job. Starting a new job on a right foot never goes out of style.

I used to think it was so cool to have a fat wallet - well, I thought it was cool to store expired credit cards, receipts and vouchers in a sports wallet (the kind with Velcro straps). I was 7 then.
Things are certainly different now - I don't carry my parents' expire credit cards around, for starters. And these days, it's the lesser; the better.
This brown leather card case is certainly right for moments when you need some personal trimming. Trim the fat, bulky and op for something clean and classic to store you essential cards. The dark shade of brown is evergreen and will go with everything.
The mini faux-clasp adds a dose of charming detail that will again, stand the test of time. With 4 card compartments, this piece will help you trim the fat off your wallet in a chic second.

I remember the days when I used to stuff everything in my pockets. My keys, wallet, book, discman - yes, that was in the 90s when I wore those enormous baggy jeans that I thought were so cool.
Those days are gone now and I throw my everyday essentials in a day bag. I have my eyes set on a particular one (I am just waiting for the right color in the size that I want to be released) when I came across this.
This is perfect for everyday use with its simple, classic structure and its minimalist exterior. The cream suede made from calf leather that's been treated with a clay dye process to give the awesome shade of light grey you see here. The detachable shoulder strap gives you the option to sling this if you ever need both hands for errands.

I do my Christmas/birthday shopping all year round - throughout the year, if I see something perfect/complimentary for someone on my list, I'll get it and keep it for the special day. So whenever I shop for myself, I am also looking out for the people in my life.
You know the saying ''It's the thought that matters'' and depending on who the giver is and the gift in question, the saying holds a lot of truth. For all other times, it's bullshit (for everyone who's gotten a jigsaw puzzle on Christmas/birthday when they were 9; you know what I am talking about).
But again, the gift in question is important and even though it might not cost much, it can still look like it's worth more than its price tag. So I was pleasantly surprised when I got to know about LuShae jewelery - they offer earrings, pendants and promise rings of various variety; in white gold and gold for example.
I got the Le Petite Pendant ( US$124 US$64) for my mom because I just wanted to give her something just because. You don't need an occasion to give the women in your life a gift so if you're looking for a good place for gift ideas and very affordable jewelery, LuShae Jewelery is an ideal place to start.
The pendant arrived and again, I was surprised at its quality and natural sheen. It look more expensive than its price tag and who doesn't love that? It was simple and clean. Something she could wear with everything. Needless to say, my mom greatly appreciated it and she said it made her week. Now, that is something that really matters.

I have to admit that I am not a belt person. My pants don't have belt loops and I almost if not all the time go belt-less when I am in jeans. I still buy belts though if they catch my eye - why, I am not exactly sure but probably just to have options around when/if I change my mind.
This skinny leather belt would be the sort of belt that I, a prefer-to-go-beltless person would buy. The thin strap gives a modern and current vibe that syncs wonderfully with the subtle vintage treated leather.
The buckle on the other hand, is less subtle. But still refined and to-the-point without needing to exaggerate. The studs make for a cool statement that well, would make this perfect for everyday wear with your favorite pair of jeans.

I am still on my hiatus and even though I still want to stay put for a while, do nothing and not travel; I'm thinking a road trip somewhere would be fun. Where - I haven't thought that far yet. But road trips = weekenders and this would be fantastic for a spur-of-the-moment road trip.
The champagne color is neutral and appealing; going with most everything. The simplicity of this shines through. From the handles to the outer stitching to the ruched gathering at the shoulder strap clip-point.

I remember storing my very first ipod in a pair of ankle socks. That was many years ago and there were no sleek accessories out for the ipods back then and I just started college so I didn't have that kind of excess money to spend on extra accessories.
Fast forward to now and there are a plethora of ipod accessories; so much so that you are literally spoiled for choice. But this Jil Sander piece is one of the better ones that I have seen so far. The black leather is classic and the shape/structure of this holder clean and defined; nothing fussy - just sleek and functional.
The light printed label namesake is subtle and refined; so much more than an old pair of ankle socks. How far we've come!

I am on the lookout for a new everyday bag. My current Marni one has served me well and will continue to serve me well for years to come but I am in the mood for something new. Hence, the search. I know what I have in mind (I am just waiting for the right color in a particular size) but it's always fun to look for alternatives.
This Bally piece is one to take a closer look at. The Swiss label has been given a fresh revival by current creative director, Brian Atwood, and it's really showing in their products. Like this tote. It first fulfills the most important requisite for me: it's got both a shoulder strap and top handles. Going hands free comes in handy but there are also times when you want to give your tired shoulders a rest.
The masculine, slightly boxy structure of this bag compliments the rivet and stitching detail on the exterior. These details add a subtle edge and a stylish feel that is always appreciated.
The height and width is just great for everyday use - work, school, errands, sleepovers. And the iconic black/white stripe is classic and provides another dose of refinement.
